FKA Twigs Cancels Coachella and Tour Dates Due to Visa Issues

British singer-songwriter FKA twigs has officially canceled her upcoming performances at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and all remaining North American tour dates in April due to ongoing visa complications. The cancellation also includes her scheduled performance at Mexico City’s Axe Ceremonia festival.

The avant-garde artist, known for her genre-blending music and visually arresting performances, shared the news with fans via social media, expressing deep regret and disappointment. “I’m devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues, I am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America,” she wrote.

FKA twigs was set to return to Coachella for the first time since her memorable 2015 performance, with appearances scheduled for April 11 and April 18. Her participation in the popular Ceremonia festival on April 6 in Mexico City was also widely anticipated. These shows were part of her “Eusexua Tour,” supporting her latest creative work, which blends experimental music with futuristic visuals and choreography.

Visa issues were first revealed last month when several tour dates were postponed, with delays attributed to late paperwork submission by her production team. Despite efforts to resolve the situation, the complications proved insurmountable, resulting in the complete cancellation of her April tour plans.

Fans have responded with a mix of disappointment and support. Many expressed sympathy for the artist’s situation, noting the increasing challenges international performers face with immigration and work visa processes.

While no rescheduled dates have been confirmed, FKA twigs assured fans she is working to return to North America as soon as possible. “This isn’t goodbye, just a pause,” she stated, leaving the door open for future performances.
